Lech look like winners
Niels Frederiksen's Lech have found an edge to their play since he took over as coach on 1 July 2024. After a 2-2 draw away to Wisla Plock, Lech beat KS Gornik Zabrze 3-1 in the Polish Super Cup before blitzing AGF Aarhus 4-1 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualification tie. With an average of 2.60 goals per match at home across all competitions, Lech know how to fill the net and with 1.40 goals conceded, they also show plenty of control but enough bite in both boxes. Patrik Waalemark has two goals in one appearance in this year's UEFA Champions League qualification and comes into this game having bagged four in his last five overall, so he's Lech's main danger man.
AGF are not a bad side
AGF are not a poor team but they haven't played with the same consistency as Lech of late.
Jakob Poulsen took charge on 20 June 2025 and his 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 setups have an obvious edge with an early press, plenty of energy to win the second balls and the ability to hit the wings in transition.
The White Riders beat AC Horsens 2-0 in a friendly last week and will need a better response to the 4-1 defeat that they suffered against Lech in the previous round of UEFA Champions League qualification.
