The Blues have looked in tremendous form to start the season and should prove their superiority over the Tigers, although some of the value may be sapped away from the match odds due to Hull's equally impressive start.
Alonso's side have posted four wins and one draw in their last five games, while The Tigers have won three of their last five, picking up a draw and a defeat. So far this season, Chelsea have posted a 3-2 away win over Fulham, a 2-0 home win over Luton Town in the EFL Cup and a 4-3 win at home to Brighton in the Premier League.
Hull can keep it competitive in the early exchanges
Hull have recorded three wins on the spin, following a 2-0 home win over Manchester United. A 1-1 draw at Stoke in the EFL Cup was followed by a penalty shootout win before they registered a 1-0 victory away at Coventry City.
Chelsea should have the edge over The Tigers in the longer term as the visitors are likely to sit deep and try to stay compact before hitting on the counter-attack. But Hull have enough of an attacking threat and enough good form behind them to keep this match competitive for a while.
Over 2.5 goals the best bet
