Manchester City U21 head into Monday’s clash with Norwich City U21 as the clear favorites for the win, although the odds of 1/10 on offer for the hosts are a clear overreaction to the two sides’ respective quality.
The Sky Blues are currently in fifth spot on 37 points from 19 games, while Norwich are in 23rd after picking up just 20 points from the same number of matches.
City boss Benjamin Wilkinson has instilled a clear philosophy at the Etihad Campus since taking charge in July 2024, with the U21 side’s play based around controlling the ball in possession, creating positional overloads, and pressing in a structured and selective manner.
