Mitrovica's 10-0 thrashing of Zimbru Chişinău in their UWC qualifying semi-final is an attention-grabbing result that suggests they could give Ludogorets a few jitters on Saturday. Shpetim Idrizi's side like to get on the front foot and have the pace to hurt teams on the counterattack, but Ludogorets have a more consistent record in their domestic league this season and could nick this final.
The Bulgarian champions went the season unbeaten in the 2025/26 Bulgaria Women's League, winning 27 of their 28 matches and drawing the other to rack up 153 goals and concede just nine. Hristos Dokov's side are the more organised team with more quality in each sector of the field, but Mitrovica come in on the back of some fine recent results so it should be a competitive affair.
Ludogorets likely to win the midfield battles
Aurora Mulliqi provides the pace and penetration that Mitrovica need to get at Ludogorets from the off, while Rajmonda Spahiu's recent string of clean sheets will be key to keeping the Bulgarian giants at bay. Edona Kryeziu will be their most reliable finisher, but Ludogorets are more of a team with Nadezhda Ivanova and Veronika Gotseva controlling the tempo from midfield and dictating the tempo. Nora Dimitrova leads the line for Ludogorets, but the scoring is spread throughout the team with Mariela Petrova, Raya Boneva and Silviya Kefalova all contributing regularly. Idrizi's 4-2-3-1 system will get players into wide areas to attack the flanks and presses the game in the final third, but Dokov's girls build from the back and press in numbers when possession is lost.
Expect goals at both ends in what should be a tense final
This is the first recorded meeting between the two clubs and the lack of head-to-head record means the final starts with a blank sheet of paper. Mitrovica's 10-0 win over Zimbru certainly suggests they are in the mood to attack, but we are taking Ludogorets to come through here because they are the more consistent side over the course of a long campaign.
The 57/100 over 2.5 goals bet has enough upside to make it worth a punt on Saturday's final, but both teams to score looks a good bet if Mitrovica can land a few early blows.
