Ramsgate enter the 2026-27 Isthmian League Premier Division season with 0 points from 0 matches, but Saturday's opening-day clash against Leatherhead could be something of a momentum match for the hosts. Aiden Prall provides a reliable last line for The Rams, while Jacob Bland can provide fresh energy in midfield as Ady Pennock looks to rebuild.
Pennock will try and get Ramsgate pressing and imposing themselves at home, however, Saturday's visitors are a different animal entirely. Ian Selley has his men compact, well-drilled and dangerous in bursts, particularly when they can play on the break and get into wide channels or set pieces.

The clubs also faced off in the Isthmian League Cup in December 2019 and Leatherhead won 3-2 in Ramsgate. So on paper, this looks a bit like a home banker at 23/50, while the visitors are 107/25 on the road. Pennock's Ramsgate will try to push the pace and be the more proactive team, while Leatherhead will look to remain solid and catch The Rams on the counter. But we feel that this is going to be a cagey affair and that one big moment will likely decide the outcome.
