In-form Zalgiris can make a game of it
The odds are against FK Zalgiris Vilnius here, but the Lithuanians can make it interesting against HNK Hajduk Split in Thursday's UEFA Conference League Qualification 2026 clash at the LFF Stadium.
Hajduk are the market favourites at 1.78, with Zalgiris at 4.25 and the draw at 3.65, which seems slightly askew given the hosts' form.
Andrius Skerla's men have won seven, drawn one and lost two of their last ten in all competitions, including a 3-2 away win over FC Hegelmann Litauen Kaunas and a 7-2 home thumping of Dinamo Tbilisi in their previous two games.
Zalgiris are unbeaten in four at home, winning each of them and drawing none, so there are good reasons for backing them against Hajduk, who still seek their first away win in any competition, having drawn two and lost three of their last five away trips.
Split are likely to win
Michele Sego has been Hajduk's sharpest finisher of late with three goals in five, but he could have his hands full against Zalgiris, who have a similarly potent finisher in Nikola Petkovic.
Petkovic has scored seven times in Zalgiris' last five, while his team have racked up 15 goals in that spell. The hosts will therefore surely score, but Hajduk have enough attacking power to get on the scoresheet too.

This is a control versus intensity contest with Zalgiris, who will look to stay compact, be disciplined and counter-attack, while Hajduk, who are more likely to get the win, will push the pace, press higher and look to stretch the play on the wings.
