Juve have the pedigree
There is nothing to suggest that Torreense Women are going to make a dent in this game, but then again there is no history to say how Juventus Women will react to their arrival on the big stage. Juve's price of 1.14 is far too short to take them on at home to a team that finished around fourth in Portugal's top flight in 2025-26 while the 6.5 price on the draw is also well short of the value of a game that could be scrappy and tight. Under 2.5 goals at 3.2 is also more likely than the 11/4 and 1.55 prices on both teams to score, Yes or No, suggest because this is a game that the control of Juve should dominate rather than chaos.
Gonçalo Nunes has made Torreense a compact, organised, proactive cup side and they have got there on the back of late drama and clutch performances. They won the Taça de Portugal final 2-1 against Sporting CP in extra-time, while the continuity of their collective pressing and team discipline has carried them through the Supertaça and Taça da Liga in 2025-26.
Torreense tough to break down
Salomé Prat and Janaína Weimer will have to find the final third finishing for the visitors to hold up against a solid Juve side that will look to control the midfield and territorial possession with their usual 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 system. But Torreense's narrow, blocky system and ability to get men behind Juve on the counter-attack will be a problem for the hosts on Wednesday.
Barbara Bonansea, Vittoria Beccari and Valentina Cambiaghi can provide the spark for Juve, but with Cristiana Girelli away on loan until August, they will have to work for it. Isaac Guerrero has taken over as coach and it remains to be seen how the Barcelona-methodology coach will implement his style on the squad, but they should be well drilled.
A 1-0 or 2-0 Juventus win looks the likeliest outcome here with the winners of the first knock-out clash more likely to still be around for a crack at the 2026-27 UEFA Women's Champions League.
