Bees are on the right track
Barnet have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five matches in all-competitions and look to have a happy home advantage when they welcome Salford City to The Hive Stadium on Saturday.
The Bees have been in good nick since Dean Brennan took over in September 2021 and his shape-shifting style of play, which can look like a 4-3-3 at times or adopt back-three structures, makes them difficult to pin down.
The midfield control and width they offer can carve holes for star forward Callum Stead, who has scored six of his team's last 11 goals. He's a goal man on a mission and will be the danger man for the Bees to keep an eye on.
Salford are solid enough to keep this close
But Salford will be happy to sit in and try to pick off counter-attacks in a fixture where they can't be seen as clear underdogs.
Peter Cklamovski's side are a work in progress, but the early signs are that they will look to be more progressive and pressing than recent Salford City teams as his ideas get bedded down.
