- Torino have four points from five games, as many as Udinese, who occupy 13th place.
- Udinese have four points from five matches and one defeat in two away games in Serie A 2026/2027.
- Torino FC have won one of their last five games (1 draw, 3 defeats), Udinese have won one of their last five (1 win, 1 draw, 3 defeats).
Toro have a bit more of a bite
Torino FC will look to edge out Udinese Calcio when the two Serie A clubs meet at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Monday. The Zebrette are the marginal favourites at 2/1, but Toro are just behind them at 33/25 and the draw is a huge 23/10. A cagey and tactical affair looks in the offing rather than a shootout.
Ignazio Abate, who has been in charge of Torino since 12 June 2026, has the club playing an intense 3-4-2-1 system with a hard press and speed in transition. This can make them dangerous if they get it right, but there are also times when they are left open to be played through.
Toro will try to be in numbers in the wide areas and look to get on the break quickly to serve up Che Adams in space. But, after 14th-placed Torino's 0-2 home defeat to AS Roma and 1-1 away draw against Bologna, Adams has been left wanting bite in both boxes.
Udinese may have a little more quality
Udinese's form has been mixed at best so far in Serie A 2026/2027 with four points from a possible 15, following up a 0-1 home loss to Cagliari with a 1-1 away draw against Pogon Szczecin.
So their momentum isn't great either, although Kosta Runjaic's side does tend to be more of a possession-based unit that can go short or long, which may help them if Torino's pressing game becomes too extreme.
Runjaic, who has been in charge since 14 June 2024, can vary the matchup, which should help them get some joy from this. Runjaic has some more quality to deploy in Hassane Kamara, who tops the scoring charts for Udinese with two goals in 2026/27, and Keinan Davis, who has supplied three assists in Zebrette's last five matches.
Zebrette can nick it
Udinese have won the last two head-to-head meetings, including a 2-0 home victory over Torino in Serie A 2025/2026, and will have more to say here than they did in Udine. But the Zebrette have the quality in the final third to nick it with Vakoun Issouf Bayo coming into his own with two of Udinese's six goals in their last five.
The average goals numbers from this fixture in Turin make it seem like under 2.5 will land and we think it will. In their five head-to-heads in Turin, Torino have averaged 1.5 goals to Udinese's 1.0, so we are going for a narrow, low-margin 1-0 victory for the visitors, who have won both of the last meetings between these two clubs.
Torino's record of no wins from two home games in Serie A 2026/2027 and only one goal scored across those two games is also a concern. Udinese have played two chaotic away games with 3.00 scored and 3.50 conceded on average in that sample. However, under 2.5 goals at 4/5 looks a safer pick than a result bet.
