Yann Songo'o is a huge addition to the Hyde side for this season and brings the veteran steel and leadership they need at the back of a side that looked very vulnerable in warm-ups. Ben Bottomley's ability to keep Emley in games is highlighted, and his shot-stopping ability will be key in keeping this match close on Saturday. Hyde have the edge in the quality they have at the top end of the pitch, with Jack Redshaw providing a cutting edge up top and Taylor McMahon, who re-signed for the new season, having enough quality and energy to play a key role in link-up play. Jamie Spencer has already shown he has the class to curl in a free-kick from the edge of the box against Rotherham and his set-piece ability makes him a livewire from dead ball situations.
