- Häcken form: BK Häcken have won two and lost three of their last five matches, beating Halmstads BK 2-0 away yesterday.
- AIK form: AIK have won four and lost one of their last five, arriving on a four-game winning streak in all competitions.
- Home stat: The home side has conceded 13 goals in six home fixtures in Allsvenskan 2026, so they can be broken down.
Hacken and AIK should play a decent top-four battle
Match context
There is an Allsvenskan 2026 top-four clash on Monday as Hacken welcome AIK to the Nordic Wellness Arena. The home team are third with 23 points after 13 games and the visitors are fourth with 21 points after the same amount of fixtures, so this is a genuine scrap for the top-four.
Team styles
Hacken have been in inconsistent form of late, winning two and losing three of their last five but bouncing back well to beat Halmstads BK 2-0 on the road yesterday. Jens Gustafsson has been in charge of the Gothenburg-based outfit since January 2025 and he favours a fast-paced style of play, with lots of verticality and attacking overloads from wide areas.
AIK are very different in nature with their game under the stewardship of Jose Riveiro since January 2026. AIK are more of a possession-based side with a solid midfield presence and a more compact shape, but they are on the up of late, having won four and lost only one of their last five.
AIK are the more in-form side but Hacken have home advantage
AIK are the more in-form team with four wins on the spin but Häcken have the edge at home and look slightly too low in the 1.8 favorites, so there is value in backing the visitors at 3.8 here. However, with AIK winning the Svenska Cupen 2025/2026 clash 4-0 and failing to win either of their previous two trips to play Häcken, there is a tight enough balance to suggest this could be close.
Over 2.5 goals is a great fit for both of these teams, particularly the way Häcken play, so I'm going for that at a low odds of 1.53.
Hacken will hit on the counter and AIK will punish space behind the defence
AIK are certainly the in-form side here as they have the momentum, but the odds on that are a bit short for my liking and a draw is probably the most realistic scenario if Häcken are going to come up with a result. Häcken are always looking to play on the front foot and will hit AIK on the break, whereas AIK will look to control the game and expose the hosts on the ball. There should be goals at both ends in this one and BTTS looks a good bet at 1.45.
- Gustav Lindgren leads Häcken's scoring in Allsvenskan 2026 with seven goals in 13 games and Julius Lindberg has been in excellent form with four assists in his last five games, so the hosts have some real end-third punch.
- However, Johan Hove is AIK's top-scorer with a more modest four goals in 12 appearances and he is an ever-present threat through the middle.
