Solihull Moors have made a scrappy start to the National League 2026-2027, so it's no surprise to see them in the relegation zone in 23rd with four points from nine games. Their recent form has been 1 win, 1 draw and 3 defeats – a mixed bag of form that keeps the home side at 4.82 here against Boreham Wood.

Luke Garrard's team will arrive on Saturday in fine form, however, with four wins and one draw from their last five. The Wood are the clear favourites here at 1.49, but this could be a tough game for them against a side who have won just one of their five National League 2026-2027 matches.

The draw is available at 4.4, but I'm going to pass on this one as it is impossible to pick a winner here and it feels too risky to oppose the away side, who are in fine current form and top of the table.

Boreham Wood, on the other hand, are going to press in packs from Garrard's flexible 4-2-3-1 system and looking to win turnovers. They'll be looking to break quickly through the lines.

I think there's a good chance that Millington's wing-backs could do some damage to the structure at the flanks of Boreham Wood, but Garrard's compact midfield and quick combinations can exploit any space in behind.

I think the current form of the two sides, the fact Boreham Wood are top of the National League 2026-2027 and the fact they are unbeaten on the road all point to the away team nicking this one. But as the hosts have such a strong H2H record at home to Boreham Wood, I'm not confident enough in the Wood to take that bet. Instead, I will go for a tight away win and Boreham Wood to edge it.
