Bantams look the best bet
Bradford City are odds-on favorites for this Tuesday night clash with Cambridge United at The University of Bradford Stadium and it's easy to understand why the hosts are a little shorter than The U's in this one.
Tactics
Graham Alexander has certainly got the Bantams playing with a real edge since taking over in November 2023, pressing high in numbers with his five across the back and wing-backs providing width and the platform to get forward and get at the opposition on the counter attack.
Form
The Bantams have lost one of their last five (W4, L1) and look in good shape here, but they are coming up against a Cambridge side that will also be looking to press opponents high.
Phillips can make the difference
Neil Harris has deployed a flexible 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 system at Cambridge and has his side pressing high up to win it back early.
Ben Knight leads the way with one goal in two League One 2026/2027 games and should give the visitors a live wire presence up front, while Adam Phillips can add the spark in midfield after providing one assist in two appearances.
It's a tricky one to call as Cambridge can get in the mix, but Bradford's system should stretch them if they can get the turnovers, although the U's press could make this a scrappy encounter.

- Bradford are 1.83 favourites with Cambridge 4.25 and the draw 3.6, which means the market has it right, but the hosts are more than capable of edging this.
Correct score play
The price on under 2.5 goals fits a controlled home win, but I'm going to go for both teams to score – yes, as it is very tightly priced (1.83 yes/22/25 no), but the odds are on Bradford to nick it here.
Bradford's Aden Baldwin is their most likely goal scorer and he has scored two of the club's three goals in the last five in all competitions, so a 2-1 home win is my correct score pick.
