The last meeting between these sides in April 2024/25 was a drab 0-0 stalemate in Airdrie, but with Cove Rangers on a three-game losing streak, the script is likely to be very different on Saturday.
Paul Hartley has kept Cove compact and transition-heavy this term, making the best of a small squad and relying on the transition to do their damage in the attack.

John Rankin has installed a possession-based 4-3-3 system at Airdrie, but with the emphasis on getting the wingers wide and running at the defence, rather than sitting in possession. There is a lot of pressing on the ball when out of possession, which should open this up.
Goals look likely, with Over 2.5 coming in at a decent 1.95. BTTS No fits this matchup though as Cove's structure and Airdrie's away struggles point to one side being shut out.
Cove have a 2-1-2 home record across all competitions this term, while Airdrie are still seeking their first road win after five attempts, conceding nine goals in that period.
