- Team form: Copenhagen have won four and lost only one of their last five matches in all competitions

Lions can see off Gverreiro
FC Copenhagen will like their chances of coming out on top of a potentially interesting group alongside Braga in the UEFA Conference League – League Stage 2026-2027.
Bo Svensson's Lions have won seven, drawn one and lost two of their ten matches in all competitions, losing to Hamburger SV in a friendly between two excellent results – a 3-0 victory over Skovshoved IF in the Danish Cup 2026/2027 and a 1-0 win over Brondby I.F. in the Superliga 2026/2027.
Svensson plays his team in a compact 4-2-3-1 system and they have developed a good habit of counter-pressing and getting in behind their opponents.
Recent form
Carlos Vicens' men will be a tough nut to crack, however. Following on from a 1-0 win at home to Estoril Praia, Gverreiro travelled to Santa Clara and returned to the Minho with a 0-0 draw under their belts.
Braga have won five, drawn four and lost only once in their ten most recent matches and appear to have built up a good head of steam for the group stage of the Conference League.
Tactics and key player
Vicens has his team playing in a flexible possession system that can patiently circulate the ball and rotate players into areas of the pitch where they can be effective.
There's more than one way to win a soccer game and, in Braga, we have a side that believes in its structure and has enough individual quality to win games by getting it right collectively.
Pau Victor, with two goals in his last five appearances, is a livewire in the final third and can take advantage of any gaps that might arise in the second half of the game.
Copenhagen are 2.38 favorites ahead of Braga at 2.8 with the draw at 3.4, although those odds don't reflect the nature of this contest.
It will be close and, with home advantage, we are taking the Lions to get out in front.
- This game will be a fascinating tactical battle and the atmosphere at Parken could be electric with the home team looking to use their energy, home advantage and fast breaks to secure the win.
- However, Braga will be no walkover and we can envisage this being a tight game with lots of ebb and flow.
- Our best bet is for both teams to score at 1.7, but we'll lean towards the home side's momentum and form at the Parken.
