- Dinamo Tirana's home record reads 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, while FK Auda's away record reads 1 win, 2 draws and 1 loss.
- Dinamo Tirana have scored seven goals in their last four home games while FK Auda have scored four goals in their last four away games.
- Both sides are playing with fresh managers - Ilir Daja for Dinamo since 11 September 2024 and Didier Zanetti for Auda since 1 January 2026.
Tight and tense first-leg expected at Air Albania
Dinamo Tirana are marginally favoured to beat their opponents from Latvia on Thursday, but FK Auda's superior form and 1-0 win makes this a two-horse race.
Ilir Daja's side have had a mixed bag of results with four wins, one draw and five defeats from their ten games in all competitions, but their home record of two wins, one draw and one loss is still good enough to suggest they can land a blow on Thursday.
The 2.09 quote on the hosts reflects that feeling, but FK Auda are 3.52, which has us leaning towards the visitors with a 3.57 draw quote, the prices for the visitors are too tempting.
Auda are in better form going into Thursday's game with five wins, three draws and just two defeats from their previous ten in all competitions. They are also unbeaten in their last five, which includes a 4-1 home win over FCSB in UEFA Conference League Qualification 2026 and the 1-0 win over the Albanians.
Zanetti’s men have found their rhythm
So Auda's 1-0 win in their last meeting gives them a small psychological edge going into this fixture and Didier Zanetti's team look very well organised in a compact 4-1-4-1 formation that protects the middle and breaks quickly.
Dinamo's 3-5-2 can be a fluid system, with players able to drop in or push forward from Daja's flexible set-up, but they will be trying to stretch Auda on the wings while the Latrians will want to clog the middle of the park and hit on the counter-attack.
It will be interesting to see which team gets their way and it is likely to be close, but Auda have been clean and controlled in their recent wins and we think they are the safer choice on current form. However, the odds on Dinamo suggest it is not the time to be bold and that under 2.5 goals at 1.85 and Both Teams to Score - No at 2.0 fit a tight, tactical battle of egos.
Didhiou can make the difference
Barthelemy Diedhiou is the danger man for FK Auda, with four goals in three games in UEFA Conference League Qualification 2026 this season, while Hekuran Berisha has two goals in five games for Dinamo and is their best penalty-box threat.
Our prediction is for FK Auda to at least avoid defeat in Albania, but it could still be a narrow defeat in a low-scoring match.
