FC Cincinnati started the week with a 3-1 home win over Pachuca, then backed it up with a 2-0 victory over Pumas UNAM at TQL Stadium, before slipping to a 1-2 defeat at home to Atlas in the Leagues Cup.
Pat Noonan's side have played some good soccer of late, pressing from the front, playing through the middle and using the wide areas to get forward. The Orange and Blue have been a match for almost any opponent on their day, but Wednesday's game against New York City FC will be tough as they have failed to win either of their past two home games against NYCFC.
NYCFC can be a frustrating team to face
NYCFC's form has been less convincing of late with three wins, one draw and one defeat from their last five games across all competitions.
