D.C. United have been in solid if unspectacular form in recent weeks, winning once and drawing four of their last five MLS 2026 games. The Washington-based side have put together a little unbeaten run, but have not been converting the control into points enough.
Their run has been like a grinder's stretch, 1-1 away at Houston, 2-1 home to Toronto and 2-2 at home to Nashville last time out. René Weiler has got his side playing a disciplined, compact game with lots of off-the-ball running and better build-up than usual.

Gil can get to the heart of the matter
Revolution have not been bad in their recent results, but there has been little momentum from a 2-2 away draw at CF Montreal followed by a 0-2 home loss to Houston.
They can be very good on the ball from a back four structure, playing a 4-2-3-1 with a few selective pressing lines. Marko Mitrović's side may have the advantage in terms of quality with Carles Gil's seven goals in 18 appearances leading the team.
