Club Tigres de la UANL are in a bit of a rut with one win, three draws and a defeat from their last five in all competitions. Their latest two results are indicative of the tough grind they are enduring, a 0-0 draw away to local rivals Monterrey and a 2-0 away defeat to struggling FC Juarez.

Guido Pizarro took over the hot seat on 2 March 2025 and has brought a more flexible, transition-based approach to Tigres, they tend to press in situations, but also play with the ball and can switch between 4-3-3 and back-three structures in any given game.
Players to watch
- Juan Brunetta has been their most effective player in Liga MX 2026/2027 with three goals in nine games, but four assists is a clear indication that he is the creative spark for Tigres.

They are split at one apiece in the last two meetings, but I am backing Tigres to edge a close game here. They are the clear favourites at 1.51 with Puebla at 5.75 and the draw at 4.3, so they should be supported. The odds suggest this will be a tight game, but I feel it will be a bit more lively than that so I am going for the over 2.5 goals at 1.62 and both teams to score – Yes at 1.7.
