Doncaster Rovers come into this one in slightly more mixed form, with their recent results reading two wins, one draw and two defeats in their last five. Grant McCann sets his men up in either a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, which allows them to get men behind the ball in numbers and press high up the pitch, while a lot of their attacking play comes in the half-spaces.
The Rovers have been scoring plenty of goals of late, netting seven of them in their last five, with Billy Sharp slotting four of them. McCann's men have also been solid on the road, winning three and losing one of their last four away matches and scoring 1.75 goals per-game on average.
Side with the hosts to dominate Doncaster once more
Ultimately, we feel the hosts are in the better position to come out of this game with a win and we're willing to take the odds on a home win with goals at both ends.
This is a fixture that Stockport have had a lot of joy in over the last few years, although Doncaster are a big threat on the counterattack and Sharp is a clinical finisher. The value is with a home win but this could be tight and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Doncaster pull something out of the bag.
